Whistler Watch

This is a really shady situation. I’ve posted it in the daily links, but I just wanted to write something and touch on this.

Someone died in Lost Lake on Saturday around 6pm. He was a 24 year old man from Washington. That’s seriously a tragedy. I can’t believe that something like this would happen.

RCMP dive team didn’t find his body until Sunday despite several attempts by his friends to find him and pull him out.

The water is still really cold. It’s so important to be careful and not mix intoxicants with swimming.

It’s so shady. It’s so close to home. I mean, we hear about deaths on the mountain all the time, but the mountain is huge! Lost Lake is such a tiny little pond that we all go to for refuge and chill out time.
