So, The Vancouver Sun has reported all the World Cup skiers that are sponsored by Rossignol are getting a pay cut. A huge pay cut. 50%!

It’s super shady because Whistler is home to a few of those athletes. Michael Janyk is was interviewed by Gary Kingston of the Vancouver Sun and Janyk had quite a bit to say about it. Michael Janyk won the bronze in the 2009 World Championship. He was told about the cuts last Thursday, so make sure you check out the article cause it’s a good read.

Rossignol already cut 400 jobs this season. That’s about 1/3 of it’s entire staff. Cruddy crap happens with recession. Quote me on that!

Performance bonuses for top 10 finishes won’t be affected.
