The Inked Deal
A company called XP Events has inked a deal with The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) so that XP Events manages all the retail as the official concessionaire service provide.
What That Means
What that means is XP Events will design, build, operate and most importantly staff retail concessions at all competition and non-competition venues from the start of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. They’ve announced they’re going to be hiring around 250 part-time staff locally to operate the retail concessions.
