Fitzsimmons Mountain Range

It’s not. I’ve spent a few hours trying to figure out exactly what mountain range Whistler is actually part of, and I think I’ve found the answer, but there is conflicting reports.

Whistler Mountain is actually part of the Fitzsimmons Range.

Well, that would explain the name of the Fitzsimmons Express Chair wouldn’t it?

There are some reports that it’s part of the Garibaldi Range, but this is innacurate. Though we are on the edge of Garibaldi Provincial Park.

I’m sure over half of my readers already know this, but I thought I’d enlighten everyone else.
