I’m so excited about this. I’m more excited about this than I was about D12 coming to town (who bailed by the way). Sweatshop Union are coming to town.
Now, I’m from Toronto, where hip-hop culture is huge, so it wouldn’t surprise me if you’ve never heard of Sweatshop Union. Allow me explicate my friends.
Sweatshop union are a Canadian (Vancouver based) rap group that formed sometime in 2002. The group has some really awesome mellow and flowing beats and lyrics. A lot of their lyrics are pretty conscious. It’s really going to be a sick show. Watch the YouTube clip below, I think you’ll really like it. I’m not here to give a bio on them, but you can always read more on their official website, sweatshopunion.com.
In addition to Sweatshop Union, DJ Metal, and Animal Nation are going to be banging. I don’t really know about DJ Metal, but I’ve seen Animal Nation before and they’re pretty awesome!
