I shouldn’t really post this because Shambhala isn’t a music festival that is taking place near Whistler, but I know that many people are really upset about the Pemberton Festival not happening this year and this is a close alternative.
That said, this will probably be my only Shambhala post. It’s going to be a great festival. Shambhala is a four day long event, taking place around Nelson, B.C. There’s going to be tonnes and tonnes of artists, DJs and bands. It’s mostly DJs and it’s going to be wicked wicked fun. I can’t wait.
The point of this post is to let you know, they’re accepting applications to work and volunteer. Read the posting below the map.
Also, be sure to check out the site. A lot of Whistler DJs are going to be there, so you’re still supporting Whistler if you head out to Shambhala.

Ready to be a part of the Shambhala team?
We are looking for volunteers & event staff of all kinds for Shambhala 2009, from carpenters and plumbers to greeters and clean team. Shambhala needs passionate people who care about the festival and the farm it is run on. We are looking for the true Shambhalaites, warriors of the heart, who are ready to donate their time and energy into making Shambhala even better.
