I must admit that I usually hate installing facebook applications, but this one is different. This one is actually useful and I’m excited to use it.

My Snow Buddy is social networking application targeted at ski and snowboard enthusiasts from Western Canada.
MySnowBuddy provides an easy to use community allowing people to:
- Organize or join a ride share
- Network and meet new people
- Promote a healthy and green lifestyle
- Buy and sell ski and snowboard gear
- Check local mountain weather conditions
- See when friends and family are heading to the mountain
You can imagine how useful that can be. Especially for those who live in Vancouver. Ride shares are a huge thing. Everyone knows how stressful the drive from Vancouver to Whistler is. Driving at night, drives me nuts! Also, the ski and snowboard equipment trade is huge. This, I’m sure, will prove to be very useful.
