This frontline serving position provides guests with efficient and friendly service in the bar. The CBB server will provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. They will contribute to a positive atmosphere, be a team player, and have a great attitude and aptitude to learn.
Job Requirements
* Excellent command of the English language – written and verbal. Other languages an asset
* 1-2 years serving experience required, bar/pub experience preferred
* Ability to manage a varying table section, while bussing and running food
* Strong knowledge of liquor brands, cocktails, wines and beers
* Excellent guest service skills, desire to meet and exceed guest expectations
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Upbeat and outgoing personality with a high level of self-confidence
* Impeccable grooming and professional image
* Sense of urgency, strong work ethic with a passion for food and beverage and the ability to work unsupervised
* Strong sense of accountability, detail oriented individual with a need to please
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work as part of a team
* Knowledge of service cycle
* Extensive cash handling experience
* Micros or other point of sale experience
* Serving It Right and FoodSafe certification
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to carry and balance heavy trays for extended periods of time
* Ability to work under pressure and with sometimes demanding / abrasive clientele
