Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant - PR Company
Public Relations consulting firm is seeking a full time (40 hr/wk) experienced Administrative Coordinator for their office in Whistler.
Must have completed high school and would ideally have a post secondary degree or diploma in public relations, advertising, communications or a related field. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years in an office environment and preference will be given to individuals with knowledge of and experience in a public relations, advertising or marketing environment.
Duties will include:
1. Review, plan and coordinate procedures;
2. Establish work priorities and schedules to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed;
3. Co-ordinate and plan for office services and requisition equipment and supplies;
4. Requisition supplies required for public relations projects;
5. Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls;
6. Proof read, prepare and assemble reports, manuals and other correspondence.
