So, I messed myself up pretty badly today. I wound up in the hospital with a knee injury. Luckily there is no ligament or tendon or bone damage. I’ll be recovering over the next few weeks. That’ll give me more time to work on WhistlerWatch.com.
But it really astounded me how busy the hospital was today. Seems as if tonnes of people have been injuring themselves on the mountain lately. There was at least another 4 knee injuries while I was there as well as 5 people who were in slings. The wait time in the hospital is a few hours, and it’s especially bad at the end of the day.
You really have to be careful out there.
