Congratulations to Canada’s George Grey and Alex Harvey. Today (Sunday) they took home their first World Cup bronze medal in the team skate-sprint relay at Whistler Olympic Park.

It’s pretty cool, because Grey is 29 and he’s the oldest member of the Canadian mens squad, and Alex Harvey is only 20 ad he’s a rookie.

If you’re not aware, the team sprint  consists of each athlete skiing the 1.6-kilometre loop three times and tagging each other after each leg.

This is great news for Canada. If we do so well during the World Cup, you know we are looking at medals for the Olympics.

Sweden’s Robin Bryntesson and Emil Joensson took the gold.

Congrats to the Canadians. :)
