WFF Opening Gala Receives Rave Reviews
Last night launched the kick-off of the Whistler Film Festival official Opening Gala sponsored by American Express and Cadillac. The night’s festivities were highlighted by the sold out screening of ‘One Week’ starring Joshua Jackson which received rave reviews.
WWF Welcomes Esteemed William Vince Guests
Barry Pepper, Rob LaBelle and Roger Kumble have arrived at the Whistler Film Festival to reflect on their memoires of William Vince tonight at 7h30 in the Whistler Conference Center.
Tribute to Donald Sutherland
Tomorrow marks the arrival of this year’s esteemed festival tribute recipient and celebrated actor, Donald Sutherland. Mr. Sutherland arrives in Whistler tomorrow to receive the Film Festival tribute and participate in the festival as this year’s Borsos Jury President.

Music and film take centre stage at this year’s Whistler Film Festival. The Whistler Filmmaker Forum and transmission (a solution-minded music and digital technology conference taking place in Vancouver Dec 3 to 6) have teamed up to present the inaugural Whistler Summit, focusing on trends and issues affecting global entertainment, and the Canadian Music Showcase, featuring five export-ready artists, taking place on December 6, 2008 in Whistler.
