Rock For A Cause is a music event that’s taking place on Sunday and Monday. It’s being put on The Bands Against Hunger Society and it will be likely be one of the best events of the year. All money raised is going to good causes.
Day One — Sunday, December 21st, 2008
All Money raised goes to three causes …
- The Whistler Food Bank;
- TOV Orphan Centre in Namibia, Africa;
- Playground Builders
Live Acts: DJ Phroh (Whistler), Animal Nation (Whistler), The Rising Tide (Whistler), Ruffian Royale - will be having their CD release tonight (Whistler/Vancouver), Redeye Empire (Vancouver/Whistler)
Artisans Art being Showcased: Dave ‘Pepe’ Petko, Alexai Lopez Villaseca, Gary Peterson and more …
(Artisans are donating percentage of Money made from their sold art to Causes)
There will be tonnes of raffle tickets and prizes!
Doors at 8 p.m./ Show starts at 9 p.m.
Tickets are $8 in advance at Buffalo Bills / $10 at the door. It’s going to be an awesome show! See you there!
