I have terrible news in relation to the avalanche that hit the Fernie, B.C. area a few days ago.
There were 8 people still missing the last time there was an update about this.
Sadly, everyone has been found and it’s not good. All 8 people who were still missing have passed away.
With all the snow that has fallen in the last few days in Whistler, it’s essential that everyone is extremely careful. Especially when traveling the back country.
Out of the group of 11, 3 members survived.
Thoughts and love goes out to the family members of the deceased.
